My Special One

Have you ever wished to have someone who can change your life? Sometimes in life, you find a special person; someone who can brighten your day when your world turned dark; someone who can get you through the hard time in your life; someone who always be in your side however you are; and will always catch you whenever you fall. This ‘someone’ is widely known by a ‘friend’. I think that I’m so lucky because I do have a friend like that even before I wish for it. We had been friend since we were young. That’s why we knew each other very well. So we were passing a long time together. But now, we are not friend anymore, we are BEST FRIEND! For me, a best friend is someone who can see the truth and pain in me even when I am fooling everyone else. A best friend is the one who will guide me whenever I lose my way. She’s a perfect girl in my eye. She has three things that every girl should have, those are brain, beauty, and behavior.

Let me tell you how my best friend really looks like. She is such a smart girl who has a lot of  achievements. That’s why she gets a scholarship in her collage. From this point, this smart girl has taught me to be a diligent person in order to reach all of my dreams, to  learn as much as I could in this precious life, and also it’s a great of importance for a girl for having such a brilliant brain which has wide knowledge.

She’s one of the most beautiful creature that God ever made. Her beauty makes her so confident in doing everything perfectly. With her beauty, she can grab everyone’s attention easily. That beauty has some benefits for both inside and outside classroom. For example, she can grab all of her classmates’ attention to focus on her explanation when she does the presentation. Outside classroom, she attracted people to be her friend, so she has so many relation and connection through those friendship. It will help her in any kinds of situation which needs someone’s help. “One thing that really important in this case is the beauty from inside of your heart”, she told me that while pointing my heart. I can conclude that it’s good to look beautiful but it’s really great to have the inside beauty as well.

Besides, she knows exactly how to behave. I do love her behavior and personality which cause her being loved by everyone around her. As a teenager, she looks more mature than she should be and that’s why I believe that age doesn’t reflect someone’s maturity. She is calm, patient, and polite too which makes everyone feel comfortable beside her. I used to talk to her about my problem and she always gives me the best solution to solve the problem that I face. One thing that is really touching me is that she knows exactly my feelings even when I’m trying to hide it. For example, when I had a fight with my boyfriend. I tried to hide the pain inside my heart. She asked me, “what’s wrong with you, darl?”. I told that I was okay but she knew that I was not. Moreover, she never gets mad for the thing that goes wrong or running unplanned. I think she has a high grade of patience. This  patient girl really likes reading motivation books and she also likes to  be involved in student organization. Although she’s so busy with all of her duties as a student in Math Education Department and as a member in a student organization, she can manage her time very well.  Such a perfect girl, isn’t she?

Well, Our friendship has kept on growing and we'll be here for each other to the end. We will never forget the fun we’ve had. Laughing until our face turned blue; and also for the things we’re through in, for both the hard time and fun time that we will never forget. Thank you for being my best, my sister, and also for being my closest cousin. Thank you for listening me when I have a problem and help dry my tears on my face and thank you for being a good model for me. I had learn so many things from her. She is the one who can change my life. I can be a better person just by listening her golden advice and through the things that she usually does. I wish that she knows how grateful I am to have her in my side.

Everything changes and nothing stays the same. But as we grow up, one thing does remain that I was with you before and will be until the end and nothing could ever replace you, my best friend, Ika Astri Utami.
